Shih Tzu Poop Eating Habit
It is not unusual seeing a Shih Tzu eat a poop, whether it is his own poop, other dog’s poop, cat poop, rabbit poop and other animal’s poop. Dog owners are usually disgusted with this behavior. Just imagine seeing your beautiful Shih Tzu eating his feces, isn’t it horrible?

Lots and lots of speculations are being formulated as to the reason why dogs eat poop. Some believes that the lack or deficiency in food is what drives a dog to eat his dirt.

Keeping the surroundings clean is one best way to prevent your dog from eating poop. Develop into him the habit of using the appropriate bathroom to prevent poop from scattering all over your place. Some resort to placing cayenne pepper or something that will make poop taste really bad. This will discourage your dog from eating poop. Some says that breaking the one large meal into small frequent feedings a day will help improve this behavior.
You can not always directly tell your Shih Tzu what is good and not good for him. You just have to let him understand through patience and time.
